British Fashion Awards 2014 nominations: Alexander McQueen and JW Anderson The Most Nominated…

The return of the most celebrated awards of England that crown the best designers of men’s fashion, women’s fashion and accessories of the past year: between the nomination even Victoria Beckham and Stella McCartney.

On December 1, 2014 will be awarded at the London Coliseum in London, the British Fashion Awards 2014, the highest awards of fashion that are assigned by the British Fashion Council (upper house of the UK fashion) designers to women’s fashion, men’s fashion and accessories of ‘year, in addition to the models, advertising campaigns and everything that relates to the big fashion circus that unfolds within the confines of the reign of Queen Elizabeth.

Few surprises in front of the nomination, of course, because there are in the game the best names in British fashion: leading the charge with two nominations apiece JW Anderson and Alexander McQueen (always headed by Sarah Burton), then there are of course Victoria Beckham, Stella McCartney, Christopher Kane, Christopher Bailey for Burberry and Tom Ford, Almost taken for granted even the nominations for the models: obvious that they could not be Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn and Sam Rollinson, while it was surprisingly out of the running at Suki Waterhouse.

Charlotte Olympia and Anya Hindmarch have been named as the best creators of accessories, and little wonder comes from international designers: bitter surprise for Italy, totally absent in front of the supremacy of the designers working in France. To contend for the award for international designer Hedi Slimane will in fact (Saint Laurent), Nicolas Ghesquière (Louis Vuitton) and Raf Simons (Dior). Seize and take home, Italy, a dry mouth after the nomination of Miuccia Prada in 2013.
