When you get out of a shower or bath, pat yourself dry instead of rubbing vigorously with a towel. Patting helps keep the moisture in your skin & rubbing will remove all the natural oils that skin needs to maintain itself.

If you are going to use a sugar or salt scrub filled with essential oils make sure to use it before getting in water. This ensures the deepest penetration into your skin & also helps remove contaminates better.

Body Care Tips

Using a scented lotion & matching body mist is my favorite way to scent myself. This even works great under my arms on my lazy days!

Tea tree oil for everything! Anti-microbial. Anti-bacterial. Great for sanitizing all over your body. Apply a dab of this essential oil on any blemish you have anywhere! Just avoid open wounds, eyes & mouth. Add a few drops to your shampoo & conditioner. Tea tree is great for hair that is looking lackluster.

Love dark nail polish but hate the ugly yellow it turns your nails? Just use some whitening tooth paste & scrub with a tooth brush to get your normal nail color back!

Put on a lip balm right before you fall asleep. You will wake up with pillow soft lips!

Wake up with a puffy face? Fill a bowl with ice cold water. Dip your face. Gasp. Repeat. Cold water naturally reduces swelling & feels very refreshing, especially in the morning.

Kaolin clay is your skin’s best friend. It works for all skin types—from greasy to sensitive. It is also very wallet friendly & easy to prepare into a mask. All you have to do is add water & stir until it is a paste. I suggest adding some essential oils like lavender, but that is not necessary to make Kaolin clay effective.

Coconut oil. Rub it all over your body & hair. Cook food like eggs & mac n’ cheese with it.

Products work better when you use them on in inside & outside of your body. Does your favorite cleanser have green tea extract in it? Then drink some green tea!
